Just to help you ballpark a professional custom job I had my cloth redone to leather and it was around $995 for front and back seats. Mine isn't all that original of a job and probably could have achieved nearly the same thing with takeoffs but it was complicated situationat the time....and custom is what I ended up doing.

Yeah a parchment GT/CS at the dealership was what gave me the idea. They have black carpet too. How hard would that be to replace? Probably not too bad, I doubt the dealership charges much for the carpet to be ordered.

Yeah, I would definitely change to black carpet, too. Shouldn't be too expensive. You might wanna see how much the GT/CS covers are through Dahl's. But personally, MRT is the way to go. If you're going to upgrade, might as well do it right and add a little more style. Set your car apart.

I'd go with # 3. Introducing another color(red)into the interior is going to make it look to busy, IMO.

Meh.

Looks like I'll just be doing Leather takeoffs, black carpet replacement and door inserts. A little disappointing, but it will still be cool.

I *guess* my wife thinks we need to allow room in our budget for things like food, shelter, clothing... psht. Thats another story though.

Here's a photoshopped pic of what I'll have.I stole these photos from 05BlackPony (who did leather in his) then added the door inserts and carpet. Thanks, BlackPony!

So in the end, I won't have the coolest interior by all means.. I'd still love all black plastic with the aluminum dash, but its too late for any of that, however, I will have made my parchment alot better. [&:]
