Default Head Lights stuck on.....

Something weird happened yesterday. I was going to bed and confirmed my car was locked. I hit the fob and all was well the horn honked etc. when to bed and noticed a few min later I see my lights are still on. I thought I was just a dumb a$$ and left the lights on for most of the night. I go outside and the lights were off. The light shut off when I unlocked the car with the fob.. Ok so i lock it again. Same thing. I get in the car start it and then shut it off get out and lock the car no lights. What is up???

Sometimes the switch can cause that, so can the sjb. I do not recall any TSB's on it so the next step is diagnosis. Pull out the dmm or take it the dealer if its under warranty.

Well it did it again last night. I tried to just lock the car and not use the fob. I locked it and when I shut the door the lights came on. It took the car for a drive at for about 3 min around the block parked it and it worked as expected. It rained yesterday so I was worried about the standard 2005 leak on the smart junction box. I took the cover off thesmart junction and felt under the carpet and it was dry. I will be making an appointment on Monday for the car to go visit the stealership.... Just another chance for the dealer and I to fight over the mods on the car....
