whats the usually HP for stangs running 12-14 sec runs

 

can be anything. You should do your research before asking such a vague question. Ive seen 280 hp stangs run 12's and 350 hp stangs run 14's.

There are a million more factors to running a 1/4 than hp.

 

altitude, Air temp, track temp, humidity,and traction are all additional factors
near sea level at around 70-80F with 60-80% humidity a stock Mustang GT can run a 13.9
but the same car at 2000ft 100F 100% humidity might have trouble running a 14.5

and then you can have a S/C w/ built motor but stock suspension and tireswould have alot of trouble hooking up

 

factors are, driver,gearing, tires,elevation at track, etc.

 

12-14 seconds? that's a B.I.G. gap lol.

 

It is a huge gap. However you have a lot of factors. Mine was 12.6 with a 100 shot and no susp.
