Default American Muscle HID kits

AM HID kits look pretty decent. I dont know if they have an upgraded relay for the 05+ Mustangs, but I like how its a single bulb. Dual bulb kits = more strain and 5-10 second warm up times everytime you switch the hi/lo. Anyone have any experience with these kits?

As an alternative, what about these? http://www.americanmuscle.com/luminics.html

Thanks for your input.

I talked with stangmods....they said theirs has two elements. From my experience with HID's on my R1, they take time to warm up. Plus, turning on and off HID's all the time causes accelerated wear on the parts / bulbs. I can't find a good pic of what the stangmod lights actually include in the kit. Does anyone have an actual pic of the bulb(s)?

Thanks for your input.
My son bought me this kit for my birthday. Unless they made some changes, I wouldn't get it. But it does work good after being a PITA.

The directions suck and the pictures were no help either, I had to call the person that makes them to get my questions answered. Let me post pics and what I had to do.

Here you can see the differance in the bulbs, notice the tabs stick out farther than the stock bulb on the right.

Notice the tabs won't let you install the bulb. After talking the manufacture, he said to cut off the tabs.

Without tabs and the other with tabs.

Tabs cut off, and the bulb can be installed.

Make sure you remove the yellow seal when you remove the stock bulbs.

Here the one part of this kit that SUCKS, they didn't have the kit conplete and my kit didn't have an adapter to connect to the stock harness (see next picture of adapter)

Adapter needed, but not in kit???

This is what it looks like without adapter, really sucks.

I used a tie wrap to hold the wires in place, and used tape to keep them from touching each other.

Before ordering this kit, make sure it's complete with the adapter to connect to the stock harness.

Thanks for the pics. Now I just want to see some pics of the bulb assembly from the Stangmods set.
