Default Paint Problems.....

Ok so ever since ive had this car, ive had little chips in the paint, a couple, no big deal, but now they are gettin worse, i have small chips all over the place, on a black car, theres no reason for this, i hand wash the car all the time, and dont drive it through anything like the gravel storms it looks like its been through, and their in wierd places, not just on the front bumper, but on the rear quarter panel, under the passenger side window, on the rear decklid. What im tryin to say is none of these are driver caused. Is there anything i can do besides a new paint job? Would Ford do anything since im still under warranty, or will this be a hard issue to have fixed.......I mean i realize normal wear and tear is normal wear and tear, but before this car i had an 88 oldsmobile cutlass with a better paint job......

All you could do is contact your dealer's service manager and ask him ti look at it.

Mine has the same issues. there was a thread on it here a while back, and it seemed the consensus was black chipped very easily across the board. I'm sure the dealer would consider it normal wear and tear, but it never hurts to ask. I'm just waiting for mine to get bad enough that I can repaint it
