I'm planning on ordering a CAI, long tube headers, and 4.10 i'm going to take them to a tuner shop with a dyno, my question is would it make more sence to just order the tuner from brenspeed or let the guys at the tuner shop tune my car, would it just be a good idea to have the tuner handy what you guys think?

 

Talk to your tuner 1st. He may only have a set up for one kind

 

If you're getting a dyno tune, I would talk to the dyno guys first and see which tuners they have the most experience with.

It would make more sense to me to order the tuner from Brenspeed. I doubt your local shop, tuner shop or not, is more experienced or talented then Brent on the S197.

 

I agree with all statements above....if its a great tuner then give him a shot.....i would also get a brenspeed or bama tune also....its not that much $$ anyway just to see, but you will want to check and see which tuner the shop prefers using
