The brown showing is the Factory etch primer but it doesn't matter now.
Once you have a scratch that you can feel with your nail, buffing is, let's say,p#ssing in the wind?
You can attenuate a little by filling with the base color until it's almost flush. Then dab some clear until it's flush.
Wet sand and buff a bit and it will look much better. If you (or a shop) do this right with patience, it will be hard to notice it, although it's still be there.
