its not a question of speed....the DS can fail at any speed.....the loop will protect you from the DS failure no matter what, happening at 120+ would be horrible, thus I have a loop...its cheap insurance anyway...

only have the che front installed and have no clearance issues, I am lowered and have the hurst.....there have been reports that the BMR and Che and aftermarket shifters have clearance problems but I did not experience any....i honesty cant see the hurst and the che having any problems with clearance unless the 1 is installed incorrectly

The drive shaft loop is a piece of tubing or a metal scrap that is used to prevent the drive shaft from hitting the ground and possibly flipping or tearing the vehicle apart if one of the joints break at high speed
