Sorry, i would recommend your idea over this and also just using a think piece of tape or somethng..much easier

Sorry, i would recommend your idea over this and also just using a think piece of tape or somethng..much easier
Or just have Ford fix it under your warranty. My 07 does not have the problem.

I highly doubt this is something they will fix under warranty.....its like saying that they should fix your air conditioner because its only as cold as the refrigerator instead of the freezer....the AC is still working properly, its just not to your liking.
