thanks drbobvs. I like your suggestions, but from what I've read, should not go 4.10's if I'm going to supercharge. Did you do your drive shaft and UCA and LCA yourself?

its pointless to get a GMS CAI if you are getting a tune, so get a JLT, C&L or Steeda.....

Ha! yeah, san marcos is just a 30 minute jaunt down the road. I'm originally from Baton Rouge, LA and I really LOVE central texas. I think I'll be here for awhile. The Mexican food is freakin' GREAT here. Not to mention the beautiful hispanic ladies. Man, I think I've died and gone to heaven sometimes. I didn't know what I was missing my whole life. lol!
If you upgrade to a cold air setup and are planning to supercharge later, I wouldn't spend a lot of money on one. Of all my mods, the CAI made the least amount of difference and with most SC setups you will have to ditch it later.
My first andbest mechanicalmods were long tube headers, steeda motor mounts (these are highly suggested to have done with the long tubes due to clearance issues) and the H-pipe/axle back. I didn't do the motor mountsalong with the headers and had to go back and have it done. When the long tubes are installed, they have to lift the block anyway so it's a perfect time to have them installed.
I also did a 1-piece lightweight aluminum driveshaft which is a great mod. I have a 4' one and am running into problems now that I'm mapping out my lowering plans. If I could go back, I'd have gone with a 3.5'. Plenty of those out there and you won't have the clearance issues later on.
I had plans to supercharge from the get-go and figured upgrading the exhaust and driveline would be most important due to that fact. Good luck with your Stang'!

i would say x-pipe or h-pipe and longtubes, pioneer navi, and 4.10s if you have a good shop.

4.10's in a manual is virtually the same difference from stock as my 3.73's in my auto. But yes, many do stick with the stock gearing when going T/S due to the amount of off idle torque. If you know you'll be going F/I in the future, then yes, you may want to save even more moneyby sticking with stock 3.55's for the time being.
I'm still running the stock UCA, but yes I installed most everything else back there myself.
