I don't know how they look from inside the car at night. But I saw an '08 during the daytime with his lights on and they were incredibly BRIGHT.

They are much brighter than the stock headlights and they illuminate much better @ night.

Just buy a set of Saleen HID if you want full housings. They are cheaper then the Ford factory ones. I gota set ofSaleen HID'sfor $600 off ebay new.

+1 on what Tube just said.. The whole housing should be replaced due to the fact that the lenses are different for HID vs Halogen...If anything you will get a lotta light in the immediate front of the car but wont be overly benaficial further in front of the car.. Either way they look sweet on the outside tho
+2
glad someone finally pointed this out
lenses different for halogen and HIDs

Kits are just that, kits, unless they come
with the housing designed for the HIDs.
OEM stock headlight housings + HID
"kits" = blinded oncoming drivers.
Enough to pis them off on a regular basis. [:@]

Hey guys--perfect timing! I just got my HIDs installed last night. Here are some pictures I hope you find helpful. Driving home there is a noticeable difference. It is definitely worth the $500. I did both the headlights and fogs. The kit is the whole housing, not just the cheap bulbs you find on ebay.

Neither, it is an aftermarket HID kit
