Gear ratios
Hi all.
While reading through the posts, I've been seeing occasional talk about changing to 4.10 gears and such. I'm not a real motorhead, so I don't really understand how this changes your cars performance.
Could someone offer up a brief explanation of this concept? I don't need a physics lesson, just a little familiarization so I can decide if this may be something I'd like to do in the future.
thanks.

Ok, im not here to give you a schooling, just a lil clue just like you want bro. Gears, 4.10 - 1 gear ratio. Stocks are 3.55-1......There are more revolutions. You know how long it takes to reach youre peak horsepower with 3,55's???? Well, you get there quicker with 4.10's.... Its pretty much a faster way to get into youre powerband. OK!
