Delete plates
UDP
Axle backs
Chin spoiler
Sequential tail lights
Short shifter
Lowering springs

Just some ideas. TB spacers are useless. What kind of tune do you have?

TB spacer is just for looks on our cars. There is no benefit at all.

Sorry your tune doesn't seem to have the advertised kick. Weather greatly affects my car's "get up and go". Humidity and heat dull the CAI/tune effects. It's getting cooler in NC now, so my car is like lightning. It's a huge difference from the way it performed in 90 degree weather.

Maybe you should try your other octane tunes. Some guys say they get better response from their economy tunes (87 or 89 octane).
I picked up .3 with mine. I dunno

I just put on a new C&L CAI and a SCT xcal 2 tuner settup on my car. The improvement IS noticable but not as big as I was hoping so any tips would be apriciated.
If you are using a SCT tune then that is problem.....you didnt get a Brenspeed or Bamachips tune.....get a tune from them and then come back and tell us what you think....

forget the spacer....$100 paperweight

I have the brensped tune. I'm not blown away either. Great mod which definitely pulls harder. But I didnt crap my pants like everyone gushes about. It was worth the money but maybe I just expected too much. Who knows.

The biggest difference I noticed in my tune was the lack of bogging down when hitting the gas hard. The car doesn't lurch like it's gasping for air anymore. Instead it reacts so much faster, thus delivering more power quicker. However, on a rainy day, it drives like a stocker. As I said, weather drastically affects the performance.

I don't know of any other NA motors that respond as well to a tune as ours do. 20hp from a tune on an NA motor is huge. I have a shatty Diablosport tune and even that made a big difference. I can't wait to try out the Bamachips tune.

This isn't attacking you personally but is a $400 mod that set the car up right. It isn't a turbor or S/C. You maybe get 25 30rwhp but the responsiveness of the car and drivability greatly improve. You didn't just attach a rocket to the car you tweaked it. Back in the old days $400 got you power but you still had to tune it and it did respond like these.

I am using a SCT tune but bought it from brenspeed with the CAI as a package and they tuned it for all my mods including the CAI. After driving it for a few days its definatly pulling harder because I am lurching more due to the fact I am not expecting to get that kinda kick outa it so its definatly a improvement.

Ok and about the mods suggested for my car that will allow for FI later down the road without having to rip em off I have a few questions.... bear with me I am really only about 3 months into the modding scene and am doing it all via this forum

What are delete plates? I have heard of them several times but sadly dont know what they do, where they go, or where to get them. I just did some googleing but I like to get help from yall because its more tailored towards newer model stangs.

What exactly do Underdrive pullys do? I know a little more about them but not much more so help there on what types are best and how hard it is to install them would be apriciated.

Thanks for all the responses and for yall defending the CAI it is more noticable after a few days and I definatly am not sad I did it.
