Default Spacer plates

I just put on a new C&L CAI and a SCT xcal 2 tuner settup on my car. The improvement IS noticable but not as big as I was hoping so any tips would be apriciated. I am now looking at adding spacer plates between the intake and my throttle body but I am not sure how they work or what types to get if someone has some expertise on this lemme know please

Don't do the throttle body spacer. A waste!

TB spacer is just for looks on our cars. There is no benefit at all.

Sorry your tune doesn't seem to have the advertised kick. Weather greatly affects my car's "get up and go". Humidity and heat dull the CAI/tune effects. It's getting cooler in NC now, so my car is like lightning. It's a huge difference from the way it performed in 90 degree weather.

Maybe you should try your other octane tunes. Some guys say they get better response from their economy tunes (87 or 89 octane).

well eventually I want to add a FI mod of some type so anything over 4.0 will be too much then so I am holding off to find out what gears someone running a big ole super charger would have and then get them, and as they wont be a HUGE upgrade to my CAI flowing engine I was waiting for them.

If not gears or a spacer plate what would i get?

money is not a factor in upgrades for this car I plan on dumping a *** ton of money into it.... because I can thats why. Suspension and major engine work have to wait 2 months so I am looking for minor things that I can do now till i get out of hawaii where shipping doubles prices of items and labor is 3x what it should be at half the quality so think minor preformance (faster) upgrades i can do

Honestly if you got a CAI and tune and state its overhyped you don't have the car tuned right. No it is not F/I on a car but it should do things that the Factory needed to with these cars. You must be running a canned tune. When you car is tuned right you should be impressed. Ask anyone who has gotten a dyno tune with these cars and you'll get a consenses view, tunes aren't overhyped when done right.
BTW seeing as you going F/I soon you might just wanna wait and go that route first, most of the bolt ons come off when you F/I a car.
LCA's, Alum D/S, UDP's will work but it should like you wanna be in the 400 range so LCA adn D/S will work with that too.
Delete plates require another tune as well.
