I'm going to install Hawk HPS pads with RotorPros (Centric) Rotors Drilled/Slotted. Will let everyone know the results!

jmk3- Thanks for the heads up! I wouldn't want to pop the hood one day and see a chewed up strut tower!! []

Thanks again to everyone!
Thanks for the info. I'll get to the brakes one day, kind of thinking I'd upgrade the calipers to 4 piston w/14 inch rotors. Kind of expensive way to go...we'll see. Maybe a brake pad swap will be a good interim step.

No one ever mentions the direction you turn the piston to go in, I am assuming clockwise

I just put Hawk HPS pads on today. All I did on the rears is take a large c clamp to apply slight pressure to the piston and a set of channel locks ( tape the teeth to keep from etching the piston) and turn the piston clockwise. Mine compressed with no problem. I drive my car on the track so I also removed the dust shields to allow for better cooling while in the staging area before the next run. After bedding in the pads I feel I could stop the car from any speed on a dime and give change back! Good Luck.
