i used w30 once, i may have felt a slight difference, but chances are it was in my head, like thevoices that tell me to do bad things at night... lol kidding.

the 30 didnt hurt my car in the slightest, but i did change it a bit sooner because it felt like it got older quicker. you know what i mean, the way your car feels when u really need to change the oil bad.

 

Im surprised your car did not explode before you even started it with that oil. Is it stillrunning??? j/k
Seriously though, I'd leave it the way it is and switch back to to what's supposed to be in there with the next oil change. It really won't harm your car.

i did the same thing... my car runs fine... don't worry... im gonna put 5w-20 back on the next oil change... i've never noticed a difference

i use a higher voscosity because my turbo uses my engine oil. breaks down faster with the turbo

I'd prefer Tipper over Al "cause she got a pretty mouth!!! I thought I had heard that the same GT motor overseas required 5w30. Any truth to that?
