What is the big difference between the C&L Trueflow or the C&L Racer? PS (they both look alot like the BBK CAI any Thoughts on that?) I just ordered a Racer not knowing the difference...

 

Look like granatelli also. But C&l isn't the copycat. Isn't the difference between the street and racer obvious? Street with the aluminum intake, racer with the plastic. Racer has a bigger maf. Racer weighs less, plastic also should have less heat soak for a daily driver. The street's main focus seems to be on it's looks. Buy the one that you think looks best. Basically similar given a decent tune. Also, racer is a little cheaper.

 

So it's still a good buy a guess, I don't really care about looks... all i care about is the applicatoin

 

Are SCT cand tunes any good for the CAI?

 

They certainly are not the best....brenspeed or bamachips should be better by a good margain

Yes I have the SCT X cal 2 SF... I don't know if it's good or not.. but i know it was expensive, and it works good with cand tunes... I can only dream of better tunes... I didn't know they made that big of a diff. So if they e-mail me the Tune it's Dynod?

 

That's a fair deal ... I didn't know it's not that expansive, well I am going to wait till I have my C&L and then I will deff going to get a tune (I heard Brenspeed as really good custom tunes.
