i'm going to be upgrading my wheels to the factory 18"ers. my car came with 17" wheels and I don't believe that it has a tire pressure monitor system.

will I need anything else when upgrading to 18's?

TPMS did not start till the 07 model year... so no issue there...

you dont need anything....they are interchangeable.

Yes. You will need money to buy the 18 inch rims. You will need money to buy tires for them....now....and in the future.

I had 18 inch aftermarket rims, but I went back to 17 inch. My car feels so much nimbler now.

Me too, I thought I was the only one! My car came with the polished alum. 18" Bullitts, took those off for a nice set of 17" Bullitts I bought from a forum member.

Car feels 1000% better, sits a little lower, lighter, more nimble, you can throw it around, steering feels more responsive, I didn't think it would make that much difference, but it did! Now I love the car that much better. Also I like the look of the smaller wheels way better...looks more like a Mustang should, IMHO.. More retro, less "bling"!!!

BTW Just put the 18's on, you'll need nothing else.
