Back in Europe, 20 years ago, I tried to keep up with the Bullet train... I wished!
I was doing 270kph (170mph), and this thing lost me like I was sitting at a red light.

I wanted to wave to people since the track were parallel to the highway, but never got that chance.[8D]

LOL I tried that also, in France. There's a stretch of Payage North of Paris which runs right alongside the TGV line for bout 20 miles, I was flying alongin the old Beemer at 230-240kmh when woooooosh goes the train straight past. Talk about a humbling experience !!

I've hit the peg at the end of the speedo about half a tick past the last tick so about 147mph (bone stock)
just remove the speed limiter and at sea level you should be able to do 150-155 easy

I was 100km south of Paris (near Fontainebleau) on the A7. Sunday, late afternoon, no traffic. Riding a suzuki 500 RG Gamma (2 stroke) WOT

That's a nice compliment there... And I'll return it.
By the way, what's your plans for this Saturday?
There's a cruise in Casselberry, starts at 6.30/ 7.00 PM. Usually about 80 cars and mostly Stangs.

Only an hour away from Melbourne.
20 minutes at 140mph! Kiddin'.
