Default Rear wheel alignment question

I just installed my new deep dish wheels tonight and noticed that the driver rear sticks out a bit more than that passenger side. I have no suspension mods and basically just removed the stock wheels and put the new ones on. They are from the American Muscle and I didn't see options for different off-sets so I'm assuming they are the same. Is it possible the rear is just that way from the factory and I never really noticed with the stock wheels? Any recommendations on how to fix? Your input is much appreciated. Thanks!

How about another thread with rear end alignment, within 5 minutes of each other

I also have an 06 GT Vert and have the same exact problem. Didnt notice until I had 295's on the back, but the driver's side rear definitely sticks out 1/8" or so farther than the passenger side.

I read this exact same thing on another thread not too long ago. I'm pretty sure the wheels were from the same place too. I also have read that some Stangs are coming from the factory with the rear end shifted slightly toward the driver side. At any rate, assuming the offset on the wheels are the same an adjustable panhard rod ($100) would easily fix the problem,if you plan on lowering you will need it anyway.

I'm not a fan of American Muscle at all... problems with that company -- but anyway ... try getting an Adjustable panhard rod to move it back center.... thats what had to do after I lowered mine.

Not sure if you were talking about my rear axle thread or not but it is a different issue than the side to side alignment

Thanks for the replies. So do you guys think it could be the wheels?
