hey, Is the person with your spare keys available via cell phone? I know it sounds silly, but it really will work for them to click the unlock through the phone while your next to the car, then you can climb through the back. IT REALLY WORKS>
just tried that experiment - my wife is at home, had her go out in the garage where stang is parked (it's rainy here in PA today), hold her cell phone up to trunk while I clicked the trunk pop on my key fob while holding it up to my cell phone. Guess waht happened? Nothing. You must have that Fonzie thing going on or something to get that to work. Or a vivid imagination.

The dealer should have the key code and can cut you a
new door/trunk only key for cheap. The key code was
stapled to my owners manual by my dealer upon purchase.
I keep this # memorized in case I lock my keys in the car
on accident. Otherwise I always carry an extra set.

I had this happen to me about a month ago, but I did have a spare key. Unfortunately it was hanging on the key rack at home. Good thing my neighbor was home, she has a key to my house and brought me the extra key.

Everyone needs to make sure you have a spare key.....you never know when you will need it.

I guess you can call me The Fonz because it just worked a minute ago. Not the trunk unlock, but the door unlock and lock.

Just for reference, you can get a remote on e-bay for as little as $6, see for example:

and a key for about $10:

Those shipping fees are INSANE! $5.99 to send a key regular mail???
Plus I won't buy from eBayers who have that many spelling and gramattical errors!

Anyway, with the rubber around our windows I was wondering how hard it would be to slip in a coathanger and grab the inside door handle...
And this is why I use Autoclub.
Just dreading the day I lose a key when out surfing...
