I bought an extra key on eBay because you need 2 keys to program another key or else you have to go to the dealer and pay through the nose. I think I paid $6.00 and I programed it using my original keys. Now I have a spare so if one gets lost I'll still have two keys.

EDIT: I just looked it up and I paid a total of $11.50 including shipping.

well one of my roomates has roadisde assistance on his cell phone so he got it to unlock it for free, and it took the guy all about 5 seconds to get my door open without the factory alarm going off, which is kinda scary to think about how easy it is for people to get in the car so damn fast. i would have gotten another key made but i never thought i would lock my keys in, so im off to make another key to at least unlock my doors. i was thinking of possibly hiding it somewhere within the car itself so i dont have to get anyone to bring me my keys

I used to carry a spare key (it only unlocks the door) in my wallet. There was a little tab thing inside the bill area just for that.

You can get a gas cap thing that has a combonation on it, and inside it'll hold a spare key. I had one on my F150 I had. It would hold a key in the handle you use to open the gas cap.. They combo lock was like a combo lock for a suitcase.. But it was enough to keep people from getting the spare key.

The owner's manual tells you how to do it.

How about that thread a few weeks back about someone putting
that keyless entrypad thing on the inside of his gas door.
