New 08 GT/CS Tire monitor help!!!
The sensors are strapped to the rim, you need to go back to the dealership fast to get those back....they are expensive. Like others have said, you can buy new straps and strap them on the new wheels.

I would contact the dealer. They sold you the wheels. Tell them they forgot to give you YOUR sensors.

If the deal with your dealership included them keeping the wheels forsome type of discount on the purchase price of your CS, you may be out of luck. If you simply said "Oh, can you throw these wheels on? I don't care what you do with the stock wheels" then I think you should have no problem getting them back.
They cant legally sell a 2008 without the tire sensors. They are a Goverment requirement. If they give you an issue about getting your sensors back call Ford. PS make sure the sensors go back on the correct corner. The position is coded into the cars pcm. They can tell where they go with a scanner.

I was told that if you have an issue with the tire sensors they can tell which wheel it is if its in the original postion.
Might be misinformation, I dont know.

The most cost effective way, at least for me was to get your sensors back from the dearlership, b/c they are located inside the rim, if you dont want the rims they will have to breakdwn the tires to remove them. make sure they give youall four sensors, the pedestals( metal mount that connects the sensor to the band), and the plastic retaining clips( hold the sensor to the pedestal). then you only have to buy one band $40 and have a local tire shop mount the band and all 4 sensors in your spare tire as long as you spare holds 35psi you wont get the tire light. you may have to go through a couple drive cycles to proove out the light. I have mine set up like this for almost a year with no problems.

If they start to give you grief, hammer their *** on the Sales CSI for not informing you of the sensor requirements! As for tire location... not a problem, the TMS sends a signal out to check the position and pressures of each monitor and learns the positions.
