So 2200+350+100+2500-3500= 5150-6150 total!!!!!!!! WOW maybe I should have had the internals done with the S/C install! I still want to do it in the future but maybe it will wait a year or 2 now.

I was told that what you really need are just the rods as everything else is pretty strong.

I was just curious one day waiting to get my bottle filled at a local shop and they rough guessed around6k installed and tuned for a stroker kit. But this is from the only shop that I would trust to do the work that I know of.

Internals are a exspensive but worth it if you decide to push series RWHP numbers

what numbers are you looking at just for internal improvements without an S/C. What effect on gas mileage or you looking at. If i'm at the road race track I don't want to have to stop to fill up twice as much.

Really they wont give you better numbers but make the motor more bulletproof for any FI application. Granted if you do internals and everything is honed, cleaned, and inspected and put back together right maybe it will run better and yeild a couple of ponies but that is my thought process and is not a fact.

There is really no reason to go with internals if you're not going to go FI -- JMO! Most peolpe that go with internals plan on going past 450 RWHP so they have no other choice but to make the bottom end stronger... if they don't then the motor isn't going to hold up for too long
