Why do you fill it before you park it all winter? Gas goes stale, doesn't it? Wouldn't it be better to just keep a little bit of gas in the tank so you can get it over to the station for a fresh fill once spring is back?

I'm heading to the Chicago area for Thanksgiving and I ALWAYS take the Stang. I'm considering taking the SUV instead just for that reason. But then I look on the bright side. Since I don't have to drive the Stang in the snow, Ican justify getting rid of the all season's and I can go with a nice set of BFG KDW's or KDW 2's... Yeah, baby!

I drive mySubaru Forester Turbo in the winter. Ain't no snow covered hill that I can't climb.

Fill the tank so no condensation forms. Also add gas stabilizer. I've never had a problem with the gas that was stored.

Gas does get stale throughout the Winter, but it is insignificant. Add some stabilizer and your good. It is better to have the tank filled to the top because freezing and thawing causes water to get into your gas tank.

I see a White V6 Mustang parked tucked in the corner of a local Mall car park, i guess the owner works there and is trying to keep it out the way as much as possible. Anyway, it's always immaculate, really well kept.
So today I ride past and glance over at it, like I nearly always do, and there it is, Black steel rims with skinny snow tires on, covered in brown crappy road film and salt. Looks like a real POS !

I tell yer, you All round Summer Southern boys have it good

I really wish we never had snow!! I guess it does save me money on insurance and it keeps the kilometers off!

Yay for texas
Yep...Texas doesn't have snow like that; they have hailstones the size of softballs. Give me snow anytime vs. the hailstones...
