Fortunately for us, we don't get that much snow.....maybe 1-2" a year and that usually is gone by the next day.

 

I plan on getting some snow tires and do some "drifting" this winter [8D]

 

Where I used to live in Newfoundland Canada, If it did not snow 3 feet it was a wierd winter. one time we woke up and could not get out of the house because the door was blocked to the ceiling with snow because there was a strong wind pushing up against it. We had to callup some familytoshovel us out.

 

I used to live in Maine in the early 80s' and you couldn't even walk outside. You had to learn to shuffle your feet or you would find yourself onyour backside. If you dare raised your face up it would feel like it was cut by a knife. Scarfs were a good idea. One think about here in South Carolina there is no snow and it improves the performance of your mustang in big measures. Up north they had winter cars and summer cars because of all the salt that was poured on the roadways.

 

Winter tires = good to go. Winter should be fun if you are smart & smooth.

 

i live in the crappy rustbelt of upstate NY. put the stang up this week and dusted off the danger ranger. cant wait until spring!!!!

 

I just put mine away today and my storage insurance kicks in tomorrow.

Winter sucks big time.

 

I live in Maryland (just moved here) and can't decide whether or not to invest in winter tires or to try to find a beater. The problem is, unless you're willing to spend some cash, you'll never get a beater car inspected here.

Where I live nowthere are times in the Winter when they advise you not to go outside or you will get frostbite in about 30-60 seconds on any exposed skin. It gets so cold that even if you have your vehicle plugged in it might not start. The battery freezes and does not work!

 

Hey fletch what are the inspections there like? Are they just when you buy a car or are they anually? I am moving there in June and am driving my car up from florida will I need to get it inspected? I have a o/r X and some tint that is... on the edge of being legal
