Default HELP! Installing My HID's..

Ok so I ran into a problem while installing my HID's. Theyare plug and play. I connected the wires to the harness from the stock headlights and they work just fine, well only when the car is off. Once I start the car they flicker and turn off. They didnt come with wires to connect to the battery. I am thinking there is not enough power to run them. Can anyone help me here...What do I need to do, besides send them back lol. Thanks

Mike

No help, but a question.... Why do people get HID's?

What are the DRL's? And I suppose people get them cause they want brighter lights, maybe because they like the way they look. I got them because I have headlight and fog light covers and they dim my headlights so much, that at night I can't see. And I plugged the wire into the high beam and they work fine with the high beam on and the car running. Does that make any sense to you?

does the wiring harness have a relay? All HID systems for the mustang have to be connected directly to a relay and that connected to the battery. You use your headlight wire to activate the relay/Hids.

Uhhhh, no they dont. The pilot kits i'm running do not have relays, and I have zero problems.

I was asking a legitimate question. I don't know the advantage of HID's unless you're headlights are tinted. Are stock lights somehow not bright enough??? Mine seems just as good as any other headlight I've ever had.
