does the wiring harness have a relay? All HID systems for the mustang have to be connected directly to a relay and that connected to the battery. You use your headlight wire to activate the relay/Hids.
Uhhhh, no they dont. The pilot kits i'm running do not have relays, and I have zero problems.
Are yours plug and play? A buddy of mine had wires going to the battery and had no problems. I am just wondering why they work with no problems when I hook them into the high beam on the connector. I turn my high beams on and they work. I am puzzled

with the information I have installing HID in the mustang you must have a relay or canceller in the harness. The SJB is looking for a 55W load and the HID's only use 35W. The SJB thinks the lights are not on.
Does thepilot kit connect directly to the mustang harness without extra wiring?

Yes directly to the pos and neg in the stock harness. It is straight plug and play. Do you have a solution? Do I need a higher amp fuse?

Ok so the place I bought them from, they are going to send me some special harness that I need because they said the car takes a 50w bulb where as the HID's are 35w so the harness will make the computer think that the HID's are a 50w and it should work after that.

No adaptors here, and it is a true plug & play kit. No extra wiring, etc.

Here's where the ballast is mounted, and as you can see, no extra wires running everywhere.

I wonder if these people actually thought about that when they sent u this kit. Same thing Happened to me, when I was halfway done I realized that I was missing something and had to take the whole thing apart and wait for the correct relay to come in. Why is it that hard to do a little research about what kinda of car you as a dealer are selling these lights for?
