Default Sirius Radio

I would like to hook up the Shaker 500 to a sirius unit. I believe Ford makes the necessary unit. Correct? Or would it be better to just replace the 500 with another stereo? Thanks.

Default RE: Sirius Radio

I replaced my Shaker 500 with an Alpine HU which was Sirius ready and it still uses the Ford factory amps. I don't think Ford makes a kit to hook up Sirius to the Shaker, unless you go with a Starmate. I didn't do that because I didn't want another piece of electronics hanging on the side of dash. Looks much better when you can integrate everything into the stock dash location....
