Default Gears

I am looking for somewhere near 8 or 900 HP at the end of my cars upgrades what gears would you all recommend? I have heard that 3.55 keeps it streetable so I should just keep my stocks but that 3.73 can be useable too. What do you guys recommend? Never heard of 4.10 being praised with that much power but if you got something to back it up lemme know that too.

Oh and are the stock gears good enough... cant image that with a part that basic that upgrading to a aftermarket wiht the same ratio would be cost effective unless its made of a better matterial.

Not sure what gears you need, but damn! I hope driving lessons are on your list of mods to do, 'cause that thing is gonna be a rocket ship if you get there!

I'd like to know how you're planning on getting there, but I promise you this: You won't be needing just gears. You're gonna need a whole new rear end.

with that much power... ur gonna need IMO a new clutch, tranny, rear end and really fat grippy tires!

As far as gearing I'd keep the 3.55 as the power will make up for gearing and certainly not more than a 3.73....

however... if you go to a 6sp tranny...then the 3.73 or 4.10s are doable...IMO yet the 4.10s are awful steep with 800+ hp
