HD Radio
Have any of you put in HD radio using an add-on such as the JVC KT-HDP1? I'm interested in HD radio, but I don't want to replace my head unit. I really like the 6 CD changer. Anyway, if you have one of those add-on units plugged into your AUX jack, what's the sound quality like? How much did you have to pay for it? I haven't found any units for less than about $200.

RE: HD Radio
i had a hd radio(JVC) i my wife's last car. it sounded better but in my area it kept switching in and out of hd. when i was closer to the towers it sounded pretty good. i've been thinking of putting it in the mustang but like you i don't want to take out the 6 disc.

RE: HD Radio
I bought the JVC KD-HDR1 head unit for my E-350. It's my work vehicle and the stock radio had to go. It's pretty nice with remote control. The CD changer can play MP3 files. It has a 2 line output Gold, MOS-FET Power Amp and is ready for iPod. I added a bass tube behind the seat....set up sounds really nice.
Right now I am satisfied with the Shaker 500 that is in my Mustang. I had the Sirius Satellite until the subscription ran out. I know you can buy a lifetime membership for $400 or pay like $12 a month.
