RE: auto tranny options
I have the 4stb-e from FB Performance in Long Island. It's based on the AODE/4R70W. It has a full manual valve-body, forward shift pattern,3 racing gears.Mine has the optionalelectronic overdrive and lockup for highway use and transbrake for the track only. It has not been put to the test at the track yet. Car is still about a month away from being track ready??? It's been in the car for a while now (our track season down here has just started) and for regular street use, it's fine if you don't mind the extra work of pushing buttons but at leastthere is no clutch. It comes with a cooler and we put a second transcooler on,because it gets so hot and humid down here.
Although it's rated at 900 hp, while the car is down for the new block and other stuff, I'm sending it back for an upgrade and to have stall reduced from 4000 to about 3200.

pic is the Hurst shifter that came with it.
