I don't know much about this stuff...
Will this work with a JLT cai?
Does this look like a good deal? I'll be taking it down to bamachips to get the tune since it's not far from me.
I don't want to pay retail for one of these new.

good question. The tuner I think will work with the CAI its the tuner that won't work cause your cars an 07 If I had the same set up on my 06I think it will work.

...I bought mine used for $190shipped. I've seen people selling them on here for as low as $180shipped. Keep in mind though that you'll probably want a custom tune so add another $75 on top of that. Thats the price for one from Bamachips.
Also you'll want to make sure that it is unlocked. If he didn't reset the tool before he turned his car in your screwed, you'll have to send it back to Diablosport and pay like $150 to have the tool unlocked.

Ask if it's the U7140 or U7145. The DiabloSport website shows the U7145 will work for 2007-08, whereas they say the U7140 will work with 2005-06. You can always contact the DiabloSport support to make sure.

Also check to make sure the tuner has been "unlocked". This means that the original user loaded the stock tune back to their car before they sold it. If they didn't do that, then it's locked to that car. If it's unlocked, then you should have no problems using it for your car.

So in other wordsthe one on ebay is probably a U7140 and I need a U7145...
Guess i'll keep looking lol.
There's no way im paying $350 for it brand new. I'd rather put that toward louvers or a chin spoiler.

Glad I could help, I almost fell into this trap when I was buying my tuner. I was just about ready to sent payment on a U7140 when someone at the last minute told me it was the wrong one.
If you do end up getting a Predator, there is a canned Diablosport tune for the JLT already on there. There is one for most of the major intakes.
