Hey Victoria,
The GT/CS rear bumper kit retails for about $399, and it's a much better looking cover than the GT.
Just keep that in mind...
Also, parts will go up 10/15% in January.
Go UP? What... why?

Every year, parts get more expensive. They call it price adjustments.

Last year, the GT/CS bumpers retailed for $220 each. I bought 6 pairs.
One's on my car, the other ones got sold.
They were not meant to start that cheap, as Ford corporate screwed up and "readjusted" quickly.

No it wouldn't look odd and many people have already done it.

Derek, the GT bumper extends a little lower than the v6 bumper. The sides of the GT bumper extend all the way down so they are even with the bottom of the side rockers. The sides of the v6 bumper extends down only to the top of the side rockers so that the body line looks higher because the v6 has the black rockers and not body colored like the GT.
I knew there was a reason the GT looked a little thick in the midsection. Kind of a fat goose-looking thing (as opposed to the V6's fat duck butt, I guess).

Put a ducktail on that butt and it'll look even more like a fat duck butt.

I love my fat butt and it will look even more beautiful once I get rid of the v6 bumper.
