Same here, the only problem i've had was the engine light came on, which turned out to be the fuel pump tsb. A few days after I got it back the engine light came on again and that was because it need a new gasket for the fuel pump that was in the previous week lol. So basically one problem in two years, not bad odds to me.

I haven't had any issues.I notice you havea computermod. I know that Brenspeed makes some good stuff, but it wouldn't surprise me a bit if this wasn't the cause of some of the problems. Just saying.

 

that's exactly why I didn't mod my car much for the first year and will still wait until the warranty is over to install a CAI and tune.
I don't think it's completely fair though to blame Ford for most engine trouble when you've modded your engine. So take it back to stock before you take it to the dealers. You might want to give them that laundry list and say you won't sign off on the work until everything is corrected.

i have an 05, my wife and i are its only owner ever. most we have had is a dead battery, and the gas gauge is messed up recently. i picked up an 08 a little while back to join the 05 in the garage. to me they seem reliable.

 

it sounds like an alt/battery issue
I've read about people with a problem like this on the other MForum
as the charge getts low it starts cutting off extras till it dies

 

Sorry to hear that. I'd complain, but then again what else is out there with 300hp for 25 grand?

 

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with your stang, but I think it's funny how some people seem to have nothing but problems with Ford's and others, like me, have owned Fords my whole life, put about a billion miles on them, and never had to do any repairs other than brakes...Oh, and I broke a serpentine belt on my f150 at 170,000 miles. I've never had to take a Ford back to the dealership for anything in 15 years.
