Anyone know where you can get the GT500E supersnake hood at? I found one place but it seems like they dont know what they are talking about and have no pics so if someones got a place lemme know

 

Not realy sure what you mean by "GT500E supersnake hood". The GT500E is the Eleanor (the hood like on my car) and the supersnake is the GT500KR King of the Road. There are a few companies that sell these hoods and there have been several threads about them. I would personally recommend looking at Cervini for the hood. http://www.cervinis.com/ -Joe

 

the supersnake is just a conversion of the gt500. the hood is suppose to be available at shelbyperformanceparts.com, but I dont see it on there website yet. you can contact them @ 702-405-3500

I am thinking about this one. I am hoping trufiber will release another one that is more like the KR but not sure if they still are.

 

this is by farrrrrrrrrrr the best looking hood I've seen for our cars, simple and sexy with the optional functional ram air. This is the hood i'm getting in the near future. EDIT: (actually comparing it to the supersnake hood, I think this might be it lol either way its similar and looks great)

OMG I have a woody now! That thing IS sexy. It's the closest thing to the Super Snake hood, yet! I can faintly see the heat extracting louvers also, just like the Super Snake's. Too bad it costs soooo much.

If I got a hood, it would have to be with a functional ram air system and that particular one with the add on ram air would cost $1227. Yikes! Too bad money don't grow on trees.

 

Yeah the ram air is a MUST, I think I could only buy that hood if I had a supercharger come to think of it, it makes the car look like its gonna jump up and bite you!
