Default 27k for a 08 GT with...

So i got in contact with a Fleet Internet Sales Manager and told him what i wanted and this is what he offered. For a 08 black Mustang GT with California Special, GT Proformance Package, 3.55 Axle he quoted me 27,800. Now normally a new GT goes for 27k so i was kind of interested.
I still thought i should look around. I emailed that quote to 2 other dealers. Both said they can get me a GT with the Proformance package for 27k even. One of them even said i should go with the dealer that offered 27.8k for all the packages.
I would like the opinion of the people. Do you think it is worth it? Or should i just keep looking for lower? I checked 07's and there are like 3 within my area. Out of those 3 none of them have the Califronia Special or the 3.55 Rear Axle. The Fleet salesman said I should stick with a 08 that because there are so few 07's left a lot of dealers are going to end up sending them back to ford. Don't know if I believe that.

I am still new to theses forums and i really appreciate all you're help. Thank you!

I would think that there really aren't many 07s left that are going to have much of what you want. You can definately look around, you might get lucky for sure, but yeah. The only ones left at this time of the year are the ones no one wanted for one reason or another. If you're picky and know what you want I'd get the 08, that sounds like a great price. If you're flexible and you don't care that much about options definately scrounge around, you might come up with a great deal you can be happy with.

Depends on your philosophy. Great deal and not quite what you want, or exactly what you want for a decent price.

Well for my first New car i wanted something powerful not really in terms of HP but engine feel. One of the reasons i want a Mustang. Anyways for my first car i wanted something Nice and Original. Not just basic. I'm pretty much set on what i want. Which is all those packages.

Then go with it. If you know what you want, get it, instead of buying something else and then wishing you had gone with the 08.
