The light does NOT come on when you spin. You have to turn it off by hand on the dash. When you do spin (for more than a brief second), the MESSAGE CENTER in the dash flashes its message.

I thoughtI answeredthis issueadequately in the email, but here goes for everyone else. When I loaded the canned Predator 93 octane "firm shifting" tune, it put both lights on. TCS was disabled with that tune but I have no idea why the other light (the one in the tach area) lit. The car was a beast with that tune, kicking the rear end out on the 1-2 shift and barking LOUD on the 2-3 shift. I supposed the tune was written like that because with TCS on it would have fallen flat on it's face during each W.O.T. upshift. Now with winter weather here I put the 87 tune in and the lights function normally. The 87 tune doesn't shift hard enough to make the TCS an issue.
And if anyone is curious, I'm holding off on any custom tunes until I go FI next year.

Exactly......if i would have know that it was shut off in a tune that would be an easy answer, just hitting the button will not cause the dash light to come on.

must not be functioning properly because I never recieved an email from you. So it all makes sense the major concernwas me not seeing the lite in the tach area. I had never seen it becauseI was too focused on the road I guess. I will look down next time I'm spinning out. If it doesnt appear I will take her to the stealership.

I turn TCS off.. I'd rather control my own car.
I only turn my TCS off when I'm expecting shenanigans, which is infrequently. I'd rather leave it on and give myself a margin of error, especially in the rain or snow. It actually works quite well in that regard.

I leave my TCS "ON" now unless I am planning to play. I used to turn it off everyday (except when raining) butone morning leaving work when I shifted from first to second my back end decided it was going to be the front. After the third round and round I got control of the car and was heading in the right direction. So, I leave it on now.

If i have my TCS off, there's no way that light is gonna pop up on the dashboard. It only comes on with TCS on when I have no traction
