yea..exactly the same as the stock connectors..but this one is alitte more "loose" than the stock one, if you take the black cover off and try to push on the stock one it wont really move, but this one you can wiggle a bit when its in, doesnt matter though because soon as the black cover goes back on the top it holds it steady

was not needed. You might want to clean and degrease the
area if yours is very dirty. I used Krylon semi-flat black. Nothing
special and the paint does not need to be perfect as you can
never actually get a good look at it unless the grill is removed.
I also dustedthe AC condenser coil in front of the radiator to
blacken it as well.
