painted headlight

anybody attemted to disassemble the headlight assembly to paint the black areainside to match the body color? problems? tips?

would be intersting but then wouldnt you possibly run into a problem with it not sealing up properly, then getting moister inside

im thinking the clear lens could be reinstalled and sealed with silicone.

It has been done. But I would attempt it with a spare set first...

I think CDC makes this, except there is no plastic front cover.

So you could just buy a pair of those, then just add the cover from your originals.

Whatever seems easier/more cost efficient to you.

Lightwurkz is company that does it for alot of cars that went to sema and they did mine as well.
