well like I said my 08 came with one. I did'nt realize it til after I got it home and almost **** my pants with happiness.

 

I have (had) one of these. Installed it, worked great.. For about 3 months. Then it died. Piece of ****.

I'm going to order the brandmotion one and install it sometime between now and the spring. I'll let you guys know.

Yes, I did.. Unfortunately, either I missed something during the install (it was FREEZING cold when I did it), or my factory HU is damaged. It's installed, and when I press the Aux button, it says "No aux connected" or some such ****.

Stupid Skipper 1k.

I think I'm going to replace it with an Avic D3 or maybe Z3. Something with iPod integration BUILT-IN. LOL

 

Did Brandmotion have any advice or offer to replace it?

It sucks that the 05 and 06s don't have the console jack. It's a great thing to have.

pulled the trigger on brandmotion yesterday. basically the same price as the ford accessory listed on the Moss site.

as far as PIE, I could have sworn I read several posts over the previous months about customer unhappiness with that unit.

anyway should be here next week. i will install and maybe post up a new thread on the experience.

Exx = since you had a PIE die on you and now the brandmotion not working, maybe it is your head unit
