I have harmon kardon's Drive + Play connected to a PIE aux adapter and thus to my Shaker 500. Sound is awesome, I have iPod like controls on the dash (where I mounted the controller) and can see what is playing on the display(mounted to the map light area). A very clean install. Every once in awhile I'll get the "No Aux Connection" thing and just unplug the RCA connectors from the PIE and plug them back in (with stereo, iPod, and Mustang OFF) and all is well again.

I've had the pie adapter for almost 2 years. still working great.

 

My pie works great, make sure you get revision B12 or higher (its on the chip under the cover). If you have an earlier revision you can call them and they will send you the newer chip. If you get one use logjam's directions, they are good and they tell you how to get constant power from the headunit, others that use the power plug power have had problems cause that port loses power after 40 mins or so. 2 times out of probably hundreds it said no aux connected, all I had to do was shut down the car & resart and all was good. It sounds like digital music, the ford unit plugs into your antenna port on radio anf only provide FM quality.

 

as I previously stated, I pulled the trigger on the Brandmotion unit last week or so. Install was straightforward. The printed install directions and an install video they had on their site were helpful.

At first I had trouble with the navigation (Sat and Sun) but recent shaker500/RDS posts spurred me to redouble my efforts in trying to understand how it works. I worked it out today and can navigate much easier now.I might post up a review of the unit with more detail. All in all I am happy with it. Anyone want more info PM me.
