I Take it all back!
We have 10 inches of heavy wet snow in our sub-division this AM and with the GT's 5 inch draft, it ain't going anywhere. It is still coming down at a rate of 2 inches per hour. I couldn't get it out of our drive. So, there are limitations to when and where the Stang can or should go in the winter. Common sense plays and important role now, and 40 years ago. You have to know when to say when.

Ouch thats sucks, Here in Illinois we just got about an inch last night and my GT is hibernating in my garage for the winter.
I really hate not being able to drive the thing. I may have to takeher for aride when the roads dry up just to keep her happy.
Keep your spirits up, you'll have something to look forward to when spring time comes around. Thats if you dint plan on driving it during the winter.
Cheers

I would be staying in if the chicago land area got 10in of snow. We got 2-3ins last night, and the damn city didn't plow any of the streets yet. I need to move somewhere that plows while it snow and everthing will be fine.

I drive it everyday, except this one. The snow plow man hasn't been in the sub division yet because it is coming down so hard, they can't keep up with it on the highways. I saw a snow like this once while in Montana. It started snowing and 24 hours later, we had 4 feet of snow. They are saying 1-4 feet out of this storm. It is headed your way in the mid-west. It has a moisture pipeline all the way back to Hawaii,

Yea I have been watching that system myself, It's a good thing I have an all wheel drive Ford Edge to drive back and forth to work, and everywhere else for that matter. I sold my F150 4x4 in August to get my GT and dint have any regrets other then not driving it in the winter.
I cant say I wont drive it at all... I may have to take it to work if I know for sure the roads are dry and snow isn't in the forecast. But like you said in your first post, common sense takes over when making that decision.
