the original question was, have there been problems with it....
................ if they freeze.
No, there is a current limiter as well as a torque limiter
built into the motor.
Ford has not discovered a problem since 05 model year
and there is no TSB out on the subject. Never heard of
such a thing on the forum. If Ford was having problems
and having to do service to fix said problems, would it
have been redesigned and TSBed by Ford by now?

I never had a problem with the window not going down in the Cold Weather, but I can see how it's possible if it's frozen. BTW That's my Stang in the Driveway (Feb '05)

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the feedback. You have been very helpful. I had already checked for TSB's and recalls, and found nothing related, but you never know until you actually hear from an owner in the real world. Thanks again.

I did have a problem with this a couple of weeks ago, for some reason the window would roll all of the way up so when you closed your door the glass was on the top of the seal. I had the roll the window down just slightly so it would not hurt anything. I took it to the Ford Dealership and when i went to show them the problem it worked totally fine, made myself look like an idiot. Other than that not a single problem.

Well I don't really know what you'd expect a TSB to do about freezing rain.

TSB-007
PROBLEM - WIndows Frozen in Closed Position due to Ice
