RE: window movement when opening door
This happened to me the other day... the drivers side window wouldnt fall when I was trying to open it. sucked *****. Luckily the passenger side door would open, so I started the car, blasted the defroster, and went back in the house
Im a little worried now though... what if both doors freeze [:@]

My battery died, and as a result the window lowering function needs to be recalibrated. In other words, you have to reset the program when the battery is disconnected for a length of time. On the other hand, no problems whatsoever.

I also have had problems with the window seal in winter but mine is worst cause mines a 2005 convertible. The winter came ,the window froze .wouldnt move down a lil like it should and when I went to open the door it raunched its way past my convertible roof . I almost died. The convertible roof usually hangs over the window when door is closed. I was so scared to force it by my rag top again I left it parked till better weather came and I drove my van instead. I see it as a design flaw by ford. Some ideas i had to fix it is to buy a remote car starter and prewarm the car before opening the window/door.And I plan to move into a new place that at least has a carport or garage.
