I ordered a white 05 Gt premium with IUP package on 3/1/05. The sales manager is a friend of mine and ordered my car with 2 other cars for dealership. He assured me a 6 to 8 week delivery. He said he is a larger volume mustang dealer and has already sold over 40 gt's in the past 4 months. Can I rest easy on his word or will I find out in 6 weeks that the car is not even close to being made? It seems like alot of people that were waiting 3 to 4 months had ordered their cars in november when production was very slow. Has anything changed now that it is already March?

 

I ordered mine 11/17 and it arrived at the dealership on 1/28. Keep in mind Ford has 2 week plant shut down in Dec/Jan.

I ordered mine today and was told it would be 3 to 4 months. Hope its sooner

 

I ordered mine a week ago and i wuz told it could be late june early july before i got it...the dealership guy said it wuz because of the iup....they are short on materials for it so production for cars with the package is slow...sux
