Well i dont go 100+ too often so i didnt really get them for the safety factor but more for looks, nothing says muscle car better than hoodpins

Hood pins look sexy.

 

Judging by how fast we sell out of our 2005-2008 Ford Mustang Authentic Chromed Hood Pin Appearance Kit I would say they're pretty popular. We can't keep them on the shelf!

The real hood pins are for safety, if you have an aftermarket hood you should have the hood pins. I have a couple friends that had their hoods flip up at speeds way lower than 100mph. Both had 4" cowl hoods and it did a ton of damage to both cars. If I get a fiberglass hood I will have hood pins. Do I like the way they look? Not really but they are a great safety feature.

I have the FRPP Hood Pins, can't wait to install them.

Ever see old men that wear Suspender's, and a Belt....Just a little extra insurance, that happens to look good as well.
