I'm pretty much into functional mods. If I put a lighter hood on then I will install them. Otherwise, mine is good.

Take a valium spaz boy. They are a functional item to keep the hood closed in case of hood latch failure at high speed. They are also a traditional muscle car appearance item but I guess that fact slipped past you.
I like them, I just don't think they're going on MY car.
I don't go over 100 that often, but the one time I did hit 135 the hood was bobbing like crazy, it was pretty scary. If I lived in Germany with the autobahn I would definately be getting them... the real ones.

Judging by how fast we sell out of our 2005-2008 Ford Mustang Authentic Chromed Hood Pin Appearance Kit I would say they're pretty popular. We can't keep them on the shelf!
