Default install time????

Need to know the install time for each of these: whipple 440hpbase kit/HO kit/3 gauges: mechanical boost pressure, electrical oil pressure, wideband A/F. Trying to find out what the estimated prices are and all I ack is the install time to figure an estimate of install cost. Ordering in the next 2 days!!!!

Not at all.
From experience, I would say a good shop would want it 2 days, more if you want a decent dyno session ( whichI would hope you do ).

Shops that say they'll do it in a day are almost definately rushing it.

If you're not doing it yourself, then let the shop have the car for 2-3 full days. That way they can take their time. Negotiate the labor total up front, though. With the gauges, 12-14hours doesn't sound too out of line if you like their work.

I agree with the labor times

Supercharger 6-8hrs
Guages 4-6 hrs.
Total 10-14 hrs total.

From ya'll's dealings with dealers, what is a good average price per hour? I was quoted $100 per hour, is that good?

Just talked to my tuner about installing KB myself. He said it takes about 17 hours, being that you are somewhat mechanically inclined. Lots or wiring. A shop should take a few hours less and should have your car at least 3 days. $100 an hour seems a little step. I was quoted $4800 for the kit and somewhere around $6k OTD for the shop to do it.
