Default CO2 kit for intercooler

Is this little ring worth 500 bucks? I am tempted to buy, the shop says its like nitrous but i never have to worry about blowing anything up.

nitrous really cools the intake air, and I heard it makes a little power too
just make sure your set up correctly, and you shouldnt be blowing any thing up

Is this better or inferior to methanol injection?

JPC tested a similar kit and found it to be worthless. Just30 lbs of dead weight. plus this is meantair-to-air IC setups, althoughI guessyou could put it on the heat exhanger forsome of the air to water IC setups. If your IC is effiecent enough, your probably won't see any real gain out this system.

I say leave this one for thericers, just my two cents.

Yeah sounds about right, if your air to air wasn't doing good tho you could just go air to water and you would def not need the "spray". Kinda pointless it seems like yeah.

Well the general way I've understood it is, that Air to air intercoolers like the ones that come with Procharger, Paxton, and virtually all turbo Kits are more efficient for DDs. Air to water setups like on vortech, twin screws, and eaton roots blowers are, or at least can be suited more to race apps. Ibelieve its due to the fact that you cantemporarilyachieve a cooler air charge since on Air to water setups(at least some)you can drop ice in the coolant reservoir.
